Allan Zola Kronzek is a professional magician, lecturer, and educator. His presentations “The Art of Fooling” and “A Magician Among the Spirits” have been featured at colleges, museums, and libraries. He is a frequent visiting artist to schools, where he presents programs on the history of magic and conjuring. A resident of Sag Harbor, New York, he is the author of A Book of Magic for Young Magicians—The Secrets of Alkazar (Dover 1992), an introduction to the art of magic.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Elizabeth Kronzek, Allan’s daughter, is a writer, editor, and historian. She has a master’s degree in history from Princeton University, where she studied the art and culture of Renaissance Europe. She lives near Cincinnati, Ohio.
